Ciao a tutti.
Sorry...I don´t speak italian. Best regards from Spain.
I would like to know the glacier conditions to get the Ringo Star route in Badile. I will visit again your fantastic alps to try Cengalo and Badile. I made Cassin years ago and always saw that spur of Ringo Star.
Any information will be appreciated.
Any info you need from Spain...please contact.
Best regards. |

Our Ringo Star topo: click here
For the glacier: there are some big crevasses, so condition are variabile with the season.
Try to contact the Capanna Sasc Fura to know the conditions... _________________ Ascolta e dimentica, vedi e ricorda, fai e capisci.

Hello, Lorenz.
Thank you very much for your interest. OK,,,I think I know what is neccesary...even that maybe the glacier would stop the climb.
Anyway we will try...this is the play in mountain.
I will inform here of our activity in order people have more details of the conditions.
Thank you again for your help.
Best climbs. |

Hello...as I promised...these are the conditions and info we found in Cengalo and Badile.
Terrible weather...when arrived on 20th july...so impossible to climb Cengalo. Besides...4 days later...a rock fall from Cengalo to the glacier destroyed part of the "viale" to Scciora. Be carefull...inestable rocks in the way.
Ringo Star route...was impossible. But we see that the glacier is ok to get the start...better walking in the middle.
Any info you need, please tell me.
Good climbs. |

¡Ah!...we tried Trubinasca by "Tumiturbi" route...but after a few pitches we go down due to the wet conditions on the next pitches...anyway...it looks a good route. |
